A sleep sack is a great tool to keep toddlers warm and cozy when they are sleeping. This is especially true with blankets being a big no-no in a crib because of the risk of SIDS and suffocation (yes, even for toddlers).

But of course parenting is NOT EASY! It’s not unusual for toddlers to try their best to get out of their sleep sack. And once a toddler knows how to get that sleep sack off, he will just keep doing it.

With that said, in this post we are reviewing the best sleep sacks that your toddler can’t get out of it easily. Plus, I will share some hacks for keeping your toddler inside that sleep sack at night and for naps.

Why Should I Use a Sleep Sack For My Toddler

Sleep sacks have multiple benefits for you and your toddler. Here is a list of reasons to use a toddler sleep sack.

  • Help regulate body temperature while sleeping. Just be sure to choose fabric according to the season.
  • Prevent climbing and getting out (or falling) from the crib at night.
  • Keeps your toddler safe by preventing suffocation.
  • Best replacement for swaddles.

The Best Escape Proof Sleep Sacks Toddlers Can’t Get Out Of

If you have an escape artist on your hand, what should you do? Let’s take a look at the best sleep sacks that will prevent your toddler from getting out of them.

1 – Back Zip

The best option is a back zip sleep sack. As the name suggests, the zipper is on the back side. This makes it nearly impossible for toddlers to unzip themselves and escape.

I recommend the June and the Moon back zip sleeping bag. It is made of breathable bamboo and cotton that will regulate body temperature when your child is sleeping.

It is made up of very soft and stretchy fabric to keep your toddler comfortable. The back zip will make it difficult for your toddler to remove the sleep sack.

The neck and the armholes of June and the moon sleeping bag are fitted but still comfortable for a toddler. The sleeping bag is available in sizes from 18 months to 5 years old.

A downside to this sleep sack is the expensive price tag. But if it helps your toddler keep his or her sleep sack on and asleep, it’s worth it.

2 – Covered Two-Way Zipper

A two-way zipper is designed to open (or close) from the top or the bottom. You can close the zipper towards the bottom so your toddler cannot figure out how to open this thing.

I like the SwaddleDesigns Cotton Muslin Sleeping Sack, which has a two-way zipper that is protected with a zip cover. The sleep sack itself is made of premium cotton muslin that gets softer with every wash.

The fabric is breathable and is more suitable for any season. The two-way zipper makes it hard for a toddler to escape, but it also makes diaper changes easier.

This sleep sack is available in sizes up to 18 months old. You can choose from many different cute designs and colors.

3 – Side & Inverted Zipper

The third option is a sleeping bag with an inverted side zipper. A side zipper is more difficult for a toddler to figure out.

The Woolino 4-season toddler sleeping bag has shoulder snaps on both sides. It has a full-length inverted zipper on the side that is easy to open and close for the parents, but is not easy for toddlers to operate.

The Woolino sleeping bag comprises a wool liner and an organic cotton shell. This sleep sack is suitable for all four seasons.

You will get a dressing guide along with the sleeping bag so you can understand how to use this sleep sack in each season. This sleep sack has a universal size of 2-4 years old and is available in 9 different designs.

Again this sleep sack has a hefty price tag, which is a negative of this product.

Hacks For Keeping Your Toddler In The Sleep Sack

Here are a few things that will help keep your toddler in the sleep sack. Getting an escape-proof sleep sack in combination with these tips will help prevent your toddler from feeling the need to take his sleep sack off.

Turn Sleep Sack Inside Out

One way to keep your toddler from opening the sleep sack is to turn it inside out. You can zip it by putting your hand in the sack, but your toddler will have difficulty doing this once it’s on.

Put It On Backwards

If the neck of the sleep sack is loose and low enough, you can put it on backwards. With the sleep sack zipper on the back, it’s harder to take off.

Offer a Reward For Keeping It On

Rewards and prizes work great for toddlers. You can tell your child he or she will get a reward if the sleep sack is kept on all night.

Here’s some great toddler reward ideas.

Don’t Let Them See You Using The Zipper

When you put the sack on or remove it, ensure your toddler is not watching you do it. You can do this by using distraction.

Play or talk with your child. This way he will focus on your face instead of your hands.

Make The Sleep Sack a Habit

Once you have started to put on the sleep sack, make it a habit. You can’t keep changing what your toddler is wearing while sleeping.

If you want your toddler to stay in the sack, put it on DAILY. This could help your child get used to it and stop trying to get out of it.

Sleep sacks toddlers can't get out of.

When To Stop Using a Toddler Sleep Sack

A sleep sack is a great tool for a good night’s sleep, but every good thing must come to an end. Your toddler cannot wear it for life.

You can stop using a toddler sleep sack when your little one is moving out of the crib or when he wants to stop wearing it. Once a child moves to a bed, you can start using blankets.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some toddlers grow up quickly. If your child is too big for a sleep sack, you can simply stop using it.

If your toddler’s a sleep sack escape artist, try investing in the type of sleep sack that toddlers can’t get out of.

You can get the sleep sacks with a zipper on the back or on the sides so your toddler cannot open them. A two-way zipper is also a great option.

Besides that try some of the hacks above to help your toddler keep his sleep sack on. Good luck navigating your toddler’s sleep – it’s not always easy!

Creating a baby registry can be overwhelming at first, but it saves you a lot of work. Luckily many big online retailers allow you to create a registry with lots of customization.

With so many options, you might be wondering if you can you have more than one baby registry. Having multiple baby registries can be helpful if you avoid overlapping baby items between the registries.

One thing to keep in mind is that it can be confusing for your guests (and you) if you don’t have a good strategy. In this article, we will discuss reasons to have multiple baby registries, the best alternative to creating more than one baby registry, and creating a baby registry if you are having second baby.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Why Should I Have a Baby Registry?

A baby registry is like a shopping list for your yet to be born baby. Having a baby registry has so many benefits, which include the following:

  • Keeps you organized
  • Easily share favorite baby products with friends and family
  • Keep track of which items have been purchased and which are still needed
  • Free welcome box, baby registry completion discounts, and other benefits are provided by many baby registry retailers

Can I Have More Than One Baby Registry?

Yes, you can have more than one baby registry. You can create multiple registries with multiple retailers.

You can even create multiple registries with the same retailer. However, every retailer does have different rules and conditions for their gift registries.

Should I Have Multiple Baby Registries?

Having multiple baby registries can be beneficial, confusing, or both. It will depend on your situation and how you create these registries.

Below we will go into great detail on reasons to have more than one baby registry. But some of the downsides include:

  • Greater chance of duplicating an item
  • Could be confusing for those purchasing the gifts
  • More difficult to track multiple registries

How Many Baby Registries Should I Have?

I recommend having 1 or 2 baby registries. Trying to keep track of more than two baby registries just gets hard.

One thing to keep in mind is that many some stores offer a universal baby registry, where you can add items from any online store. This will be discussed in more detail below.

Personally, I chose to create two baby registries. I had one on Amazon and one at Target. I wanted to give my friends and family a choice between shopping online and being able to go in person to pick out gifts.

At the end of the day, it will be your personal preference on how many baby registries you create.

Reasons To Have Multiple Baby Registries

If you are considering creating more than one baby registry, here are some reasons why you might choose to.

1 – Provide Online & In-Store Shopping Options

Some retailers provide in-store and online shopping options, while some don’t. If you would like friends and family to have a choice between shopping in-store versus online for your baby, then this is a great reason to create multiple baby registries.

Additionally, you might like the option of looking at some items in person before adding them to your registry too.

2 – Different Stores Have What You Want

A baby shopping list can seem endless. You might like a store that specializes in something specific like nursery furniture.

You might opt to create a baby registry there for the furniture you need. But then you would want to create another baby registry elsewhere that covers all the other baby must haves.

Even if you have multiple stores that do carry everything you need for your baby, you might have preferences between different brands. Or maybe sales are better at one store versus another.

3 – Get More Welcome Boxes

There are quite a few retailers that will give you a free welcome box when you sign up to create a registry with them. The welcome boxes often include free goodies, coupons, and samples.

If you create multiple baby registries, you can get a welcome box from each store. Just keep in mind, there are often rules to qualify for a welcome box. Be sure to read up on those for any store you are considering.

Multiple Baby Registries Etiquette

If you choose to create multiple baby registries, then take care of these things.

  • Avoid adding the same products to all the registries.
  • Make sure all registries have a few items to choose from.
  • Compare the prices. The same product may have different prices with different retailers. Add the product to the registry with the lower price.
  • Make sure your guests know that you have created more than one registry.
  • Keep the registries updated.

Universal Registry Rather Than More Than One Baby Registry

You also have an option to create a universal baby registry. A universal baby registry is a kind of registry where you can also add items from other stores.

This allows all your items to remain in one place and on one baby registry. Many retailers including Babylist (probably the most well known for this option) and Amazon allow for a universal baby registry.

Can you have more than one baby registry?

Creating Another Baby Registry For a Second Baby

If you already have children, you may not be tempted to create a new registry. But trust me the completion discount is reason enough to create one.

There are items you bought during your previous pregnancy that are not reusable. You also might have items that were damaged or outdated.

Even though you might not have a baby shower when a second baby comes around, you might have close friends, family, and coworkers who ask what you want. In this case you can send them the link to the baby registry you have created.

I personally created a baby registry on Amazon for my second pregnancy because I wanted to get the completion discount. You can also get a welcome box. It definitely saved us some money to do this.

How To Create Second Baby Registry On Amazon

You can create multiple baby registries on Amazon. However, all the registries cannot be active simultaneously.

I would recommend deleting or archiving your old registry and then starting a new one. If you want to buy similar items once again, you can update your old registry instead.

Here’s how to create a new baby registry and delete the previous one.

  1. Go to your Amazon baby registry page.
  2. Go to the registry you already have and navigate to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click “delete my registry”. You will see a pop-up message to confirm the deletion.
  4. Next, go to the Amazon baby registry page and click “create a new registry”.
  5. Add the items you want and click “create my baby registry”.

Pretty simple, right? Now if you want to update your old registry, just go to your already created registry and click edit. Add and remove the products you want and click save.

Yes – you can have more than one baby registry. Now you just have to determine if you want to.

Multiple baby registries can be beneficial or confusing depending on your situation or preferences. If you want to provide both online and in-store shopping options for your baby shower guests or want to receive more than one welcome box – creating multiple baby registries is the way to go.

Just remember you will want to ensure that you don’t overlap items on different registries. Plus, you also have an option to create a universal baby registry where you can add items from other retailers all on the same registry.

Amazon is huge and continues to grow and keep people coming back for more. But one of their best features is their baby registry service.

If you have made use of this service in the past, you probably know what I mean. First of all, it is very user-friendly (for the most part).

Second, you are sure to find everything and anything for your baby. And finally, you get loads of discounts and promotions that are exclusive to you.

After recommending the Amazon baby registry for so long, I felt it was a good idea to write an Amazon baby registry review.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

How Does the Amazon Baby Registry Work?

We all know Amazon is fabulous and you can find just about anything on there, right? That extends to their baby registry too.

But, what is a baby registry and how does it actually work? Let’s review that first!

What Is a Baby Registry?

A baby registry is a list you set up for your baby (and in some cases for yourself too). It contains items which you feel would be the most beneficial to you and your newborn baby. Your friends and family can then view the list you compile and buy from it.

Having a baby gift registry setup also allows expectant parents to keep track of what they have received and what they still need.

How Does a Baby Registry Work?

A baby registry is created either online or at a specific store. You can set up a baby gift registry at many stores – it is all up to you.

Once you have created your list, the online platform or retail store will manage the registry for you. You will receive a personalized link to your baby registry to share with your friends and family.

Once something on the list has been purchased it will update and show that it is no longer needed. Additionally, when you set up a baby registry it can be edited. If you decide you no longer want a certain item, you can simply remove it from the list.

Having a baby registry eliminates a lot of hassle for everyone and can be a big timesaver.

Amazon Baby Registry Review Of Benefits

There are many places, both online and brick and mortar stores, that offer fantastic baby registry services. With that said, I am a huge fan of the Amazon baby registry! It is such a convenient service and so simple to set up.

When you sign up for an Amazon baby registry the benefits are plenty. Here are some of the amazing things you can look forward to.

Completion Discount

One of the big benefits of an Amazon baby registry is the completion discount. This means if you are not a Prime member, you get a one-time 10% discount when you purchase items from your baby registry. The discount applies to the entire order.

Now, if you are Prime member this one-time discount is increased to 15% off!

A completion discount is a really nice touch because it is basically inevitable that you will not receive everything on your list. This way you can still purchase these items and save some much needed cash.

Free Welcome Box

We all love freebies, am I right? And especially when it comes to free things for your baby.

When you sign up for an Amazon baby registry AND you are an Amazon Prime member, you are entitled to a FREE welcome box. In order to receive your welcome box you will need to complete over 60% of your checklist and have at least $10 in purchases from your baby registry. The purchases can be made by you or someone else.

The welcome box will contain various items pertaining to your pregnancy and could be either samples or full size products. Boxes and contents will vary depending on stock availability.

Once you have reached the requirements needed to receive your box, you can log in to your Amazon account and claim your offer.

Universal Baby Registry

The universal baby registry feature on Amazon is an incredible invention. It means that you can add items from other sites to your Amazon baby registry.

All you have to do is install a registry button on your browser (which is super simple). When you are on another site and see something you like, click the registry button and it adds the item to your Amazon baby registry.

How cool is that? So now you can have just about anything you want listed all in one place.

First Year Diaper Discount

Who said buying diapers would be fun? Well it can be when you are getting a 20% diaper discount for the first year.

This is another really awesome benefit of the Amazon baby registry because buying diapers can be extremely costly, especially in the first year of your baby’s life.

How can you get this discount? You need to have over $500 of purchases from your baby registry (either completed by yourself or someone else).

Once this has been done, Amazon automatically adds a 20% discount coupon to your account for any eligible diaper purchases for the next 12 months.

Huge bonus tip! If you are part of Subscribe and Save you will get an additional 20% discount, that is a whopping 40% discount on eligible diaper purchases.

It’s important to note this discount lasts for a year or once you have reached $300 in savings on diapers – whichever comes first.

Organized List of Who Bought What

On your Amazon baby registry when someone purchases an item you will be able to see who did. This helps immensely when it comes time to write thank you notes.

And it helps keep track of baby items that were not purchased too.

Easy Returns

Is something not working the way you thought? Maybe something came in the wrong color. Returns with Amazon are really easy and no fuss.

Items purchased by the registry owner can be returned for free within 90 days of shipping. Items purchased as gifts by friends and family can be returned within 365 of shipping for free.

Do I Need Amazon Prime To Create an Amazon Baby Registry?

Although you do not need an Amazon Prime account to create an Amazon baby registry, there are added benefits if you do. One such benefit is the free welcome box.

In general, having Amazon Prime can offer various discounts and special offers – so it may be worth looking into, especially with a baby on the way.

Review of Amazon Prime Benefits For a Baby Registry

The big benefits when it comes to having Amazon Prime when you set up an Amazon baby registry and general benefits for expecting parents include the following:

  • Free welcome box
  • 15% baby registry completion discount (instead of 10%)
  • Prime members automatically get free two-day shipping
  • Once you join Amazon Prime – sign up for Amazon Family for even more savings!

Amazon Baby Registry Returns Review

Sometimes the gifts you receive for your baby may not necessarily be to your taste, they are broken, you get duplicates, they might not fit correctly, etc. Being able to return items easily and effortlessly is important.

As previously discussed, the return of goods purchased from your registry list is fairly simple. The most important things to note are:

  • Gifts purchased from your registry can be returned for free within 365 days of shipping
  • Items purchased by the registry owner can only be returned within 90 days of shipping

The return process is as simple as logging into your account, going into your Thank You and Returns section, following the prompts and logging a return. If your family or friends bought something from Amazon but it is not on your registry list, you can return it through the normal customer returns portal.

Review of Things I Don’t Like About the Amazon Baby Registry

Just like everything in life, not everything about the Amazon’s baby registry is perfect. For the most part Amazon offers a great service.

But I do have a few things I do not like about the Amazon baby registry, which are listed below.

  • You have to be an Amazon Prime member to get the best benefits and discounts
  • It is not exactly easy to find the sign-up button
  • You cannot see the items in person
  • Product price changes
  • Unavailable products
  • No value-added services – such as cooked meals, house cleaning or dog walking

How To Create an Amazon Baby Registry

Now that you know all about the Amazon baby registry, how can you create your own? Here is a step-by-step guide. Remember to have an actual Amazon account before you get started.

  1. Go to create a new baby registry
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Click the “Create my Baby Registry” button

Here’s how to create a second baby registry:

  1. Go to Baby Registry
  2. Go to your Settings page
  3. Fill in your info
  4. At the bottom of the page, select “Create a new Baby Registry” button
  5. Your existing registry will become inactive

You can edit your address, contact number, and email address in the baby registry settings.

How To Add Items To an Amazon Baby Registry

Once your registry is ready, the fun starts. Now you get to add all your desired items to your registry. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do this.

To start let’s review anytime you find an item you want to add to your registry:

  1. Click the item you want
  2. A little bit below Add to Cart, click the button (computer) or link (phone) that says “Add to Baby Registry”

Now, let’s discuss the various ways you can search for baby items to add to your Amazon baby registry.

  • Add from the product detail page:
    1. Search the Baby Store and other product categories.
  • Add using the Registry Checklist:
    1. Go to Baby Registry and select Registry Checklist.
    2. Select the category you want.
  • Add using Ideas and Inspiration:
    1. Go to Baby Registry and select Add Items
    2. A list of Ideas & Inspiration will appear.
    3. Select the category you want.
  • Add from other websites:
    1. Install Amazon Assistant.
    2. Find a product on another website.
    3. Select Amazon Assistant.
    4. Select Add to Baby Registry.
  • Add gift cards or Amazon Prime membership:
    1. Go to Registry Settings.
    2. In Gift Options, check the relevant box.
    3. Select Save Changes.

As you can see from this Amazon baby registry review the benefits far outweigh the negatives when considering where to create your baby registry.

There are many online platforms that offer baby registries these days, but Amazon will always be a firm favorite. It is also important to remember that you can add items from any of the other sites which you may visit, so it really is a win-win situation.

Amazon has a huge selection of items which makes it so much easier for other people to purchase a gift for you and your baby. Amazon is a trusted name – so you really cannot go wrong.

Now before I sign off. I have some great freebies that you might benefit from. First of all Amazon does give you a baby registry checklist, but it’s chockful of things you don’t actually need.

Grab our FREE baby registry and pregnancy checklists and make sure you only get the baby things you actually need. Just fill in the form below.

And finally you can check out this baby gear guide that will clarify EVERYTHING about your baby registry for you. Figure out where to register, which baby items you personally need, how to use them, and when to use them. Use the mom-approved baby gear recommendations and sample baby registries to get the highest quality newborn must haves at the best price. It’s really the ultimate guide to making sure you get you what you need for your newborn.

Can you actually get any sleep when you have newborn twins? That’s exactly what we will be discussing below!

You will also learn the best strategies you can use to get as much sleep as possible when you need to care for two babies at the same time. So let’s dive right in.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Is It Possible For Parents To Get Sleep With Newborn Twins?

Yes, it is definitely possible! In order to maximize your sleep it is best to have a good plan in place.

The top options for taking care of newborn twins in order to get sleep yourself is exactly what will be reviewed below.

Do You Get Used To Sleep Deprivation With Newborn Twins?

Let’s see, the answer to this question would be both yes and no. I don’t think anyone ever “gets used” to sleep deprivation and it’s definitely not healthy to consistently be sleep deprived.

However, knowing this is a temporary situation helps. Additionally, you will be in what I like to call survival mode.

You will be doing what you need to in order to care for your two babies as best you can. In this sense I think you are used to the sleep deprivation that comes with having two newborns at home.

Again, with some planning you can at least get some sleep in order to get through these first few weeks. Additionally, most of these strategies involve two people being available, but there are tips you can use if you will be alone with your babies most of the time.

Tips For Surviving Nights With Newborn Twins

Below are various options you can choose for handling sleep at night with twins as newborns. I recommend picking the one that sounds best to you and planning around that.

You might also want to pick a backup plan or plan to use two of these strategies depending on the night.

Rotate Nights

With this plan one parent is in charge of both babies for the whole night, while the other one sleeps. Then the next night you rotate.

So the parent who slept the night before is on night duty and the other parent sleeps. I know many twin parents that have used this strategy.

Take Shifts

Depending on work schedules this might be a good option. Each parent takes a 6-8 hour shift to care for the babies, while the other parent sleeps.

An example could be one parent sleeps 7pm-1am and the other parent sleeps 1am-7am. At least you know you can get some reliable sleep while trying to survive the newborn phase with twins.

Each Parent is In Charge of One Baby (aka The Baby Draft)

In this scenario, each parent has one baby to take care of at night. This is the method my husband and I used and we called it the Baby Draft.

Before bedtime my husband and I discussed which twin we were “drafting” for the night. Generally, we would have the same baby for 1-2 weeks because their behavior was somewhat predictable in this time frame.

This worked best for us because we liked sleeping in the same room. It was also comforting to have your spouse with you for support when needed.

A downside to this method is that you might be woken up when the twin you are not caring for needs to be fed or get a diaper change in the middle of the night.

Hire a Night Nurse or Nanny

If I did it all over again, I would probably look into this option just to get a break every once in a while. I was so exhausted and just having one good night of sleep would have been a huge help.

If you are interested in this, then I recommend using Care.com. You do have to pay a fee to join, but it’s worth it! We hired both our nannies for our twins through this platform and were very happy.

How to get sleep with newborn twins.

How To Get Sleep With Newborn Twins

Here are some more things you can do to help both your twins, and by default yourself, get more sleep.

Efficiently Change Diapers and Bottle Feed

Besides planning for how your twins will be cared for, it’s also great to be able to change diapers and feed your babies as efficiently as possible at night. I found our system for nighttime feedings and diaper changes to be very fast and effective.

You can implement it whether you have one baby, twins, or triplets, etc. We had a bassinet on each side the bed. And on each nightstand we had a waterproof pad, diapers, wipes, bottles, bottled water, and formula.

This set up allowed us to never leave the bed. We could do diaper changes and mix formula on demand from bed.

We found it was much faster to mix formula on demand rather than using a bottle warmer for pre-mixed formula. If you have bottles of breast milk, you could have a cooler next to the bed with a bottle warmer.

Take Naps

The saying goes “sleep when the baby sleeps”…I always hated this. I can’t sleep on demand like that. But if you do get a chance to sleep during your twins naps – take it.

Or if you have some help during the day, don’t hesitate to catch up on some sleep when you get the opportunity. If napping is just not in the cards for you, don’t stress over it.

I never was able to nap much.

Start Teaching Routines, Including a Bedtime Routine

From the time your babies are newborns I highly recommend implementing an eat, play, sleep routine. To learn more about how to do this, read our post on implementing a schedule with newborn twins.

Additionally, you might want to also grab these printable first year twins schedules, which includes a typical newborn schedule.

The other thing that I highly recommend doing from the start with your babies is having a bedtime routine. It doesn’t have to be long.

It could simply be changing a diaper in the nursery, putting on pajamas, reading a book, singing a lullaby, and then putting your babies down to sleep in the dark.

Swaddle Up

Swaddling is a huge help for getting newborns to fall asleep and to sleep for longer periods. I recommend these options for swaddling:

I also highly recommend watching the Happiest Baby on the Block video, for details on why swaddling is so important. Plus, you will learn even more invaluable tips for getting newborns to sleep.

This little video was a lifesaver in our house.

What’s It Like To Sleep In the Same Room with Newborn Twins?

When you are caring for your twins at night it might seem like you will never get any sleep. I am a light sleeper, and at first I would be disturbed when the twin I was not in charge of woke up.

But after a week I was so exhausted, I could roll over and go back to sleep no problem. Our twins stayed in the same room with us for the first 12 weeks. After this time I was anxious to get them out because it’s pretty distracting to sleep with TWO newborns in your room.

We moved them to their own room once they had a somewhat predictable schedule and they were sleeping in longer stretches. This is when we felt comfortable having them separated from us.

Now you know how to get sleep with newborn twins and it’s time to put your plan together to make it happen.

Those are my tips on how to get sleep with newborn twins. Don’t expect to get a lot of rest, but hopefully they will help you survive those first 6 weeks!

Lastly, I want to share something that might help you out with newborn twin schedules. Go ahead and grab your FREE newborn twins daily log by filling in the form below.

Since it’s built for twins, you get a spot to write the baby’s name. You can also use the different colors to easily differentiate between your babies too.

.

That’s all I got on this topic. Good luck as you navigate the newborn twins phase!

Giving birth and then caring for twins is much different than with a single baby. One of the most difficult tasks is that newborns do not have a reliable schedule.

A top priority for twin parents is to get their babies on the same schedule. However, until your babies are at least 6 weeks old this can be hard to do.

In this article I will be reviewing what to expect for a newborn twins schedule, as well as tips to put them on the right track for eventually being on the same schedule.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Can Newborn Twins Be Put On a Schedule?

It is nearly impossible to have the same routine every single day with a newborn. So with two newborn babies it’s probably not going to happen.

But there are things you can do to start teaching your newborn twins about routines. The best way to go about this is to implement an eat, play, sleep routine.

Setting up an eat, play, sleep schedule early on in your twins life is not only beneficial now, but it can also help with routines during the toddler years.

Sample Sleeping & Feeding Schedule For Newborn Twins

Newborns will sleep 14-19 hours a day and feed every 1-2 hours. Considering these requirements, here’s a sample newborn sleeping and feeding schedule.

Just keep in mind that unfortunately, each twin might be doing these things at different times. You will need to do the best you can to survive these first 6 weeks with your twins.

I recommend getting as much help as you possibly can. And remember this is just a stage. Soon your babies will be old enough to establish a more reliable schedule.

Tips For Working Towards Getting Newborn Twins On The Same Schedule

Following a schedule for newborn twins is daunting. I do not recommend having an expectation that your newborns will be on the same schedule initially.

Your goal should be to get them on the similar schedules when they are capable. This would be anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months old.

Below you will find tips you can implement now, so that when your babies are ready they can get on the same schedule.

1 – Eat, Play, Sleep Routine

During the newborn phase schedules change significantly. In this time span your babies will grow faster than any other time in their lives, and their breaks between naps will become longer and longer.

You can start the process of teaching your babies a simple routine now. What you will do is follow an eat, play, sleep routine.

Sometimes your newborn twins will do this at the same time and other times it will not work out that way. But the idea is that you are teaching them they can expect certain things to happen in a certain order. This will make is much easier to put them on the same schedule when they are old enough.

I do want to point out that around 2-3 weeks and 6 weeks newborns go through growth spurts. Each of your twins might have these growth spurts at the same or different times.

They might need more frequent meals during this phase. That could mean shorter naps and showing hunger cues more often. Do not be alarmed if your very fluid routine is just off on these days.

2 – Don’t Let Them Nap Too Long

Longer naps might result in more disturbed nighttime sleep. It’s okay for naps to be long, but if my babies were going on past 3 hours of sleep I would wake them up. They needed to eat anyway.

This also helps prevent your babies from being awake the entire night. If you let them sleep a lot during the day, they might think night is the time to be awake more often.

3 – Wake Within 30 Minutes of Each Other

I generally followed this rule. It will be much easier as your twins grow, but you can still implement it during the newborn phase.

Whether it’s for naps or nighttime sleep, if one twin wakes up, wake the other one after 30 min. This will help them naturally get closer to the same routine.

Now, if you have one baby going through a growth spurt and he or she is only napping 10 minutes, I do not recommend waking up your other baby in that case. Use your best judgement and follow this rule when things are normal for both of your babies.

4 – Teach Difference Between Night & Day

Teaching your babies the difference between night and day is crucial if you want them to sleep train on the earlier side. Here are a few tips you can follow to teach day and night difference.

  • Blackout curtains: Use blackout curtains to keep the room dark during naps and when the sun rises
  • White noise machine: White noise mimics the sounds babies hear in the womb, helping them feel secure and fall asleep more quickly
  • Sing lullaby only at night: This will help your twins eventually understand that this a signal for bedtime
  • Keep house lively during the day & quiet at night

5 – Write Down the Schedule

Setting up a schedule is a good thing and writing it down is way better. If you can log your daily routine with twins, there are higher chances that you will stick to it.

Writing down the schedule makes you more productive and do more work in less time. Moreover, you can share the schedule with a family or friend if someone is going to help you care for your babies.

Grab a printable blank schedule & example twin schedules here!

6 – Develop a Flexible Schedule

Newborns develop faster. Their sleeping and eating requirements change over time. During growth spurts they will feed more. With time their naps will get shorter.

So, it is best to be flexible with your schedule. Be ready to make changes in timings but at the same time you will want to stick to a pattern.

7 – Fulfill Each Baby’s Individual Needs

Understand that your twins are two individuals. They may have different requirements.

One baby might need more food. Or, one twin may hit the growth spurt earlier than the other. When following a schedule/routine, make sure both babies are fulfilled.

8 – Formula Feed at Night (For Combined Feeding Only)

If you are breastfeeding or pumping for twins in combination with formula feeding, you might want to formula feed at night. Formula is heavier than breast milk, meaning your babies will stay full for longer and wake up less often to eat.

Printable Schedule For Twins (Newborn To One-Year-Old)

The first step towards getting on a routine with your newborn twins is learning what they are doing each day. That’s where a twins daily log is super helpful. A log will keep track of each baby’s feeding, sleeping, and diaper patterns.

The good news is that I created one for you! And since it’s built for twins, you get a spot to write the baby’s name. You can also use the different colors to easily differentiate between your babies too.

Just fill in the form below to get your FREE printable newborn twins daily log.

Of course you also are here to learn about newborn twin schedules. I actually put together a whole bundle that includes sample schedules for your first year with twins.

The bundle includes sample twin schedules for newborns, 3 months, 6 months, and 7+ months. Plus, you also get my secret tips for sleeping training twins and putting them on the same schedule.

Every twin parent desires to get their twins on the same schedule. Luckily, there are things you can do for newborn twins to start establishing a routine.

Caring for twins is different than caring for a singleton. Especially when both babies have different demands at different times.

For twin parents, putting their twin babies on a schedule is a huge benefit that might just save their sanity. Use the tips above to get started on the right foot with establishing a good newborn twins schedule and routine.

Good luck!

Have you noticed your 15 month old toddler resisting sleep lately? Your toddler may be experiencing a sleep regression!

These regressions in sleep are fairly common and you may have already dealt with them previously. Either way, when your baby or toddler isn’t sleeping it tests your patience.

Just remember the 15 month toddler sleep regression is not all doom and gloom because it does not last forever. In this article, I will review how to tell if your toddler is going through a sleep regression and ways to deal with this challenging time.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Signs Of Toddler Sleep Regression at 15 Months

Sleep regressions happen more than once in your little one’s life (like after the birth of a new baby), but one of the big ones is around the 15 month mark. At this age your child typically starts becoming more independent, but at the same time also shows signs of clinginess and possibly separation anxiety too.

These combined forces create the perfect storm for a sleep regression. If your baby has always slept well but then suddenly starts fighting sleep, crying, screaming bloody murder, and just seems completely out of sorts when you try to get him or her her down for the night – it may be quite unsettling for you.

What is going on? Why is my baby acting this way?

These may be some of the thoughts that go through your head. With all that said, here are the signs to look for if you suspect your toddler is going through a 15 month sleep regression.

  • Irritability – An increase in crying before naps and bedtime hours can be one of the first signals.
  • Waking up at irregular hours – Your baby used to sleep through the night, but suddenly night after night he or she is waking up regularly or very early in the morning.
  • Missed naps – Due to fussiness and crying.
  • Struggling to resettle – When your child struggles to resettle and go back to sleep even though they used to be able to do this.

Do 15 Month Old Toddlers Go Through Sleep Regression?

The answer is yes, but also no. The reason for this is all toddlers and babies are not the same. However for the most part, you will experience some kind of interruption or change in your toddler’s sleep habits anywhere between 12 and 15 months of age.

If you have already passed this age and have not really experienced any sleep problems with your child, count yourself lucky.

How Long Does a 15 Month Toddler Sleep Regression Last?

As I mentioned before, this period in your toddler’s life will not last forever. However, in the midst of it all you may be wondering how long your 15 month toddler’s sleep regression will go on for.

The good news is that it will probably work itself out within a few weeks – assuming there are no other factors causing the sleep regression (such as illness, added stress in the home, etc.). The key to making this transition as smooth and painless for everyone as possible, is to stick with your plan.

Be sure to keep with your original sleep routine. If your little one naps at 1pm everyday, keep going with that. If bedtime is at 8pm, make sure you stick to that routine.

This includes bath time and feeding time too, keep it all the same. Even if your toddler does not actually fall asleep when you put her down, eventually the sleep regression will pass and she will be right back into her routine.

Reasons Toddlers Have a Sleep Regression At 15 Months

This phase in your toddler’s life is not just because she feels like making your life even more challenging. It is actually just as scary and frustrating for your toddler.

During the 15 month sleep regression your toddler is overtired and overstimulated. Neither of these are fun for your toddler.

With that in mind, below you will find some reasons for a 15 month toddler sleep regression. Understanding the reasons for your toddler’s behavior can help make it easier to adapt and deal with the sleep problems she’s going through.

Separation Anxiety

The clinginess stage peaks between 10 and 18 months. This period of time often results in some sort of sleep regression.

Your little one will want to be with you at all costs and for every waking minute. That means when it’s time to put your baby down to nap or sleep at night, it can be become extremely stressful for her.

Teething

During this time period your toddler will most likely start cutting molars. These are probably the most painful and uncomfortable of the teeth that come in.

Teething is an absolute sleep disruptor at the best of times, but molars are a whole different level. Now pair that with all the other things going on with your growing toddler and this could definitely result in a sleep regression.

Testing Boundaries

The toddler age is when independence starts to grow. This means your toddler will likely start testing boundaries.

How far can I REALLY push mom and dad right now?

So, sleep is something your toddler might consider that she has control over. You might find your toddler trying to avoid sleep no matter what.

Testing boundaries could be the main reason. In this case remember, you need to stick to your guns and keep doing what you have always been doing.

Motor Leaps

Anytime from 12 months onwards your toddler will become a lot more active. She will go from crawling to walking and running (and it will seem like it happened overnight).

This skill will have your toddler wanting to stay awake for longer so she can really get the most out of her newly discovered freedom of walking and running. Being able to walk will also allow your toddler to check out some of her curiosities.

Having these new abilities could lead your toddler to fight sleep because she wants to explore as much as possible. The good news is that eventually this will change and the active lifestyle will start to make your toddler more tired and actually WANT to sleep – so just stick with it.

Fears and Phobias

As your little one grows and develops a sense of self, along with that comes fears and phobias. The most common ones are fear of the dark and fear of being left alone.

One way to combat this is to introduce a night light (if your toddler doesn’t have one already have). You can also sit with your child for a little while while she drifts off to sleep.

This should not be something you have to do forever, but you can go with it for the time that it is needed. Additionally, you can listen and empathize with your toddler.

One way to do this is by assuring your child that there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of and that you are always there to protect her.

Dropped Nap

Another reason your toddler may be experiencing sleep regression is a dropped nap. Typically this is the morning nap.

When your toddler drops from 2 naps to 1, her internal clock is thrown off a little bit. It takes time for it to readjust.

But once your toddler becomes accustomed to her new sleep routine during the day, she will slowly adapt and bedtime will go back to normal.

How To Solve Toddler Sleep Regressions At 15 Months

Now that we have covered the reasons toddlers have sleep regression at 15 months, it is time to discover the ways you can solve your toddler’s sleep problems.

Hopefully, these ideas will give you some peace and also make things a little less stressful and anxiety-ridden for your little one.

Toddler Won’t Go To Sleep Or Wakes Up At Night

When your toddler won’t go to bed, the best thing you can do for everyone’s sanity is to try and stick to the bedtime routine as much as possible. The key to getting through it all – give attention as needed, but do not deviate from what you would normally do with your toddler at bedtime.

It is also important to watch how you react to your child. It is a fine balance, but do not become angry and scream or shout. You also need to be firm in your approach so that eventually the routine will go back to normal.

If your toddler is waking up at night, do not remove him or her from the room. Instead, you can stay with your child for a short time.

If your child is thirsty, give her some warm milk or water. The important thing is to keep your toddler in the space where she sleeps and limit any talking and interaction as much as possible.

I will say that I went through my toddler waking up at night and eventually I had to reintroduce the Ferber sleep training method. It was the only thing that worked and it took about 2 nights of sleep training to get her back to normal.

You can use the Ferber method for going to bed initially or in the middle of the night like I did.

Toddler Won’t Take Naps

If your toddler’s not napping, I recommend just rolling with it. It will be bumpy and there will be tantrums as your toddler tries to assert herself.

You can let the nap slide for the day, your little one will eventually start napping again. For now, choose your battles wisely.

Just continue to put your toddler down for naps. Sometimes she might sleep and other days she might skip them all together. This is something that will pass, but it’s important to continue putting your child down for regular naps during this stage.

Toddler Wakes Up Too Early

Kids love to wake up early – especially when you need more sleep. If you can, try to get your toddler to go back to sleep, or at least lay quietly in her bed or crib instead of jumping into activities.

You could consider shifting the time later that you put your toddler to sleep at night. This might allow her to sleep later into the morning.

Another option might be to embrace dropping a nap, so your toddler sleeps longer at night. Overall, early waking is something that could happen eventually.

The best way to address it is with a later bedtime. But, do be mindful that your toddler is getting the total amount of sleep she needs. Overtired children do not sleep well, so be sure that’s not the reason for the early wake-ups.

Additional Toddler Sleep Help

You now understand why toddlers have sleep regressions at 15 months and have some tips up your sleeve to get through them. But, maybe this has been going on a long time and you’re at your wits end.

In this case, I recommend two options. First, you might just need some help with a typical toddler schedule. You can check out the items below for that.

Or, for more detailed tips, schedules, and toddler sleep help, you will want this toddler sleep guide. It was written by a pediatric sleep consultant who lays out the simple things you need to do to get your toddler sleeping well.

Whether you are sick of co-sleeping, need help with naps, or just want your toddler to sleep through the night. This 33-page guide is loaded with simple, actionable steps you need to get your toddler sleeping well.

If your toddler is going through a sleep regression at 15 months, it’s not fun at all!

Even though your toddler’s sleep regression is very stressful for everyone, there are ways to deal with it. The main thing to remember is that this part of your lives will not last forever.

If you manage to stick with it and roll with the punches, things will get back to their normal routine within a couple weeks. An important item to remember is continuing to stick with your little one’s daily routine.

Good luck as you navigate this tricky part of parenthood.

Creating a baby registry can be a lot of work, but the real deal begins when you want to share it with people. You don’t want to look greedy, but you need to share your list with your family and friends so they can get the things that will help you.

The good news is that there are multiple polite ways to share your wish list. Below I will tell you how to share your baby registry, including how to do it the right way on social media.

Please note, there are affiliate links in this post. Read my privacy & disclosure policy at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Who Should I Share My Baby Registry With?

You should share your baby registry with everyone who will be buying gifts for your baby. And you should especially make sure those in your life who asked for your baby registry receive the link for it.

The types of people you will likely be sharing your baby registry with include family (parents, siblings, grandparents, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc), close friends, and co-workers.

When To Share Your Baby Registry

The best time to share your baby registry is at least 2-4 weeks before your baby shower event. Ideally, you will send out your baby registry information with your baby shower invitation.

In this case, that means this information would actually be available approximately 4-6 weeks before your baby shower. This will give baby shower guests enough time to buy gifts.

How To Politely Share Your Baby Registry

You don’t want to look demanding when sharing your baby registry. There are ways to politely announce it and the following ideas are some excellent ways to share your baby registry.

1 – Include Insert With Baby Shower Invitations

The most common, easy, and polite way to share your baby registry is to include an insert with the baby shower invitation. With an online baby shower invitation, you can simply add the baby registry link and add a message.

If you send baby shower invitation cards, you can attach a separate note announcing your baby registry.

Click here for simple & beautiful baby registry inserts!

If you prefer to create them yourself, here is an example of what to write in your note or message:

Many friends and family have asked us what we need for our baby. So, we are sharing a link to our baby registry. We truly appreciate your love and care. Your presence means a lot to us, and we look forward to seeing you. Thanks!

(Insert baby registry link here)

2 – Email or Text To Those That Ask

Email and text messages are the perfect way to share your baby registry with those who ask for it. Just write a quick message, insert the link to your baby registry, and send.

You won’t look demanding by doing this. The perfect time to share your baby registry information with these people is right after they ask or within 1-2 days afterwards.

Make sure to let the recipient know you are sending the email or text messagebecause they asked for it. Here’s an example:

Hey (insert name of the recipient)!

How are you doing today? Yesterday you asked what we need for our baby, and I promised to send you our baby registry link. Here is the link (insert the baby registry link here). I really appreciate your kindness and your love means a lot to me. Thank you!

3 – Sharing Without a Baby Shower

Sending your baby registry information along with the baby shower invitation is the most common way to share a baby registry. However, sometimes people don’t plan a baby shower.

There are several possible reasons why someone may not plan an event and you can click below for the full low down.

Many online retailers that allow you to create a baby registry also give you a link for your registry that can be shared. Let’s find out how to share baby registry links for the most popular baby registry stores.

Amazon

Amazon is the most popular online retailer that allows you to create and share your baby registry. Here’s how to find and share your baby registry link on Amazon.

  • Go to your baby registry settings.
  • Under the section, “Who can see your registry?” choose the option “Shareable” or “Public.” If your registry is private, no one will see it even if you have shared the link.
  • Next, look in the top navigation menu and click on “Share.”
  • You will be brought to a page with a link to your baby registry and buttons for sharing on different social media sites.
  • You can simply copy the link and paste it where you wish or use the buttons to share through email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or What’s App.

Target

Creating and sharing your baby registry on Target is so simple. To share follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your Target account.

  • Select the registry you want to share.
  • Go to the top navigation menu and click “More”.

  • After creating your customized link, copy and paste it as needed.

Babylist

Here’s how to share your baby registry on Babylist.

  • Click on Settings then “Visibility & Privacy”. Select if you want your registry to be public to everyone or only those who have the link.
  • You will find the link to your registry on left menu near the top on a desktop computer. Copy and paste it.
  • On the Babylist mobile app, tap on the menu in the upper left corner, tap registry, and then share registry. Or, tap the registry URL to copy it, and then you can paste it anywhere you want.

Babylist also allows you to order an insert card to attach with your baby shower invitation too.

buybuyBABY

buybuyBABY doesn’t have share buttons or customized URLs, but you can copy your registry link to email and share it with your friends.

Moreover, your friends and family can find your registry on buybuyBABY’s official website by searching by your full name or baby registry ID. You can post your registry ID and a link to the store’s “find a registry” on your social media.

Understanding how to politely share your baby registry link is actually a little bit tricky.

One of the best and most common ways to share your baby registry is to add an insert to baby shower invitations. This note will state that your guests’ presence is so important to you, and you are sharing your baby registry link because people wanted to know how to access it.

You can also share your baby registry link via text, email, or social media. The goal is not to look demanding while letting people know what baby items are actually going to help you.

One of the hardest parts of caring for newborn twins are the soothing, feeding, and diaper changes at night. After a long and tiring day with twins, it’s actually a lot of extra work to wake up and then walk to your babies several times at night to care for them.

With that said, there are bassinets for twins! These bedside sleepers for two will give you easy access to both your newborn babies all night. You can soothe and put them to sleep together without getting up and walking.

In this article we will review various bassinet options and setups for twins, which include either a double bassinet or two separate bedside bassinets.

What Are Bassinets For Twins?

A simple baby bassinet is a small cradle that is made specifically for newborns and can be used by babies up to 3-5 months old. The shape of a bassinet is suitable for keeping babies secure and comfortable, while also making it easier for parents to move it from one place to another.

A bassinet for twins is a modified bassinet with two compartments to fit two newborns at the same time. A twins bassinet has a separator between compartments, so each twin has their own sleeping space.

You cannot put twins in the same bassinet because of the risk of SIDS, so a double bassinet provides a sleeping arrangement for newborn twins that is safe, while also allowing your twins to sleep together.

What Is The Age Range For Bassinets For Twins?

The recommended age range for a bassinet for twins is the same as a regular bassinet at 3-5 months old. Ideally, you should transition your babies to cribs when they start to roll or try to sit.

Some pediatricians advise transitioning earlier to be on the safe side.

Do Twin Parents Need a Double Bassinet?

A double bassinet is not an absolute twin must have, but it can be very convenient. It will allow your newborn twins to safely sleep close to you, so you don’t have to get up several times at night.

The Best Bedside Bassinets For Newborn Twins

The good news for twin parents is that there are some great bedside bassinets available that are made especially for twins. Here is our list of the the best bassinets for newborn twins.

1 – Simmons Kids By The Bed City Sleeper Bassinet For Twins

My first choice is the Simmons Kids By The Bed Sleeper Bassinet For Twins. The bassinet is made of polyester that is comfortable for babies.

The sides have mesh material that guarantee increased airflow and visibility. Your twins can see each other, which can be comforting for them. But at the same time, they are sleeping separately (safe and recommended).

The bassinet includes a 1-inch firm and waterproof foam mattress pad that is safe for your babies. It also includes a fitted sheet that is removable. You can wash it and reuse it.

The bassinet’s frame is Z-shaped, so you can slide the base under your bed and keep your babies near you. Your twins will be co-sleeping with a safe separation between you and them. This feature is especially helpful for moms who are recovering from C-sections and who are breastfeeding twins.

The height of the Simmons twin bassinet is adjustable to 5 different levels. Even if your bed is high or low, you can adjust the bassinet’s height accordingly.

The wheels of the bassinet make it easier to move around the house. However, it’s not travel-friendly. The bassinet has large storage pockets where you can store baby products like burp clothes, diapers, and wipes.

Finally, the Simmons bassinet for twins is JPMA approved, so it meets all safety standards.

2 – Delta Children’s Little Folks Twin EZ Fold Double Bassinet (sold at Walmart)

The Delta Children’s Little Folks EZ Fold double bassinet is sold exclusively at Walmart. It’s an excellent fit for twin babies.

The bassinet is made of polyester with mesh sides and walls. The mesh allows proper airflow and improves visibility.

The bassinet can be moved from one area to another with wheels. These wheels can move 360°, so you can easily rotate the bassinet.

It also includes a 1-inch thick and firm mattress with a removable and washable cover. The bassinet can hold up to 30 lbs in weight (aka 15 lbs for each baby).

The best thing about this bassinet is that it is portable! It’s lightweight (the frame only ways around 17 lbs) and can be folded to take anywhere with you. So, if you are a traveler, this bassinet is an excellent choice.

This double bassinet is very easy to set up, with minimal assembly required. It also has storage pockets where you can store small baby products for easy access.

Moreover, this bassinet for twins is JPMA certified, so it meets the safety standards for your babies. It is available in grey and aqua geo colors.

3 – HALO BassiNest Twin Sleeper

The HALO BassiNest Twin Sleeper is an excellent choice for bedside sleeping with your twins. Just as the other bassinets on this list the mesh walls provide breathability and good visibility.

This bassinet swivels and rotates 360 degrees too, making it easy to move around. There is a soothing center that includes a nightlight, two vibration levels, lullabies, soothing sounds, and a 30 minute automatic shut off.

This bassinet can be used with each baby being up to 20 lbs in weight. The height is adjustable from 24″ to 34″.

The biggest downside to this double bassinet is the hefty price tag, especially when compared with other items on this list.

4 – Ihoming Twin Bassinets Pro

The Ihoming Twin Bassinets Pro is best for babies who have reflux. This bassinet is designed to adjust the inclined position. You can tilt it to a 10° angle.

This bassinet is made of polyester, while the frame is built with premium aircraft-grade aluminum. It can bear up to 175 lbs in weight, which is amazing.

The Ihoming twin bassinet is adjustable to 6 heights ranging from 29.5” to 35.5”. This bassinet is wide (37.5″ x 35.5”), so your babies will have enough space. The mesh separator between the babies is removable per your needs.

This bassinet is easy to assemble. It has wheels so that you can move it around the house, and the wheels are lockable to ensure safety.

There are a few negatives to this bassinet too. Due to its size, it is not suitable for a smaller room. Moreover, it doesn’t have storage pockets to keep small baby things handy.

Two Single & Narrow Bassinets

Instead of getting a bassinet made for twins, you could opt to purchase two single bassinets that are narrow. Personally, this is what I did.

But of course when my twins were newborns there were no double bassinet options. The following list are my favorite single bassinets that don’t require much space.

5 – Simmons Kids By The Bed City Sleeper Bassinet

The Simmons Kids bassinet is also available as a single bassinet, and it has basically all the same amazing features. Instead of the double version, you can get two of these single bassinets for your twins (one for each baby).

If your twins do not love sleeping near each other or each parent is going to take care of one baby at night, this option will be more suitable for you.

Just as with the double version, this bassinet is comprised of polyester and has mesh sides to improve airflow and visibility. The Z-shaped frame allows the base to move under the bed so you can bring the baby near you. The bassinet has storage pockets, a washable fabric fitted sheet, and a 1-inch thick firm mattress.

The Simmons bedside sleeper bassinet is quite narrow so it’s great for small bedrooms. You can put one bassinet on each side of the bed.

6 – Chicco Close To You 3-in-1 Bedside Bassinet

The Chicco Close To You 3-in-1 bassinet is an awesome choice because it’s not just a bedside sleeper bassinet. The wheels allow you to move it around the house, making it a portable bassinet. Plus, the height is adjustable, allowing it to also be used as a changing table.

The mattress cover is waterproof and can be used as a changing pad. Another great feature of this Chicco bassinet is that it is small and narrow, making it a perfect choice for smaller rooms.

The wheels are lockable, and the height is adjustable (24 inches to 33.5 inches). The mesh material on each side allows proper airflow and visibility.

A huge bonus with the Chicco bassinet is that it can play 6 different melodies. There are two vibration settings and a soothing nightlight.
