Selecting the bibs and burp cloths I wanted for my babies wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. There are just so many choices, making it difficult to know which ones are best. You want bibs and burp cloths that will last a long time and also be comfortable for your baby.
In order to make your decision on what to get a little quicker, I am sharing my picks for the best baby burp cloths and bibs. I am a mom of 3, including twins, who has tried more of these items than I would have ever thought. The list below contains my favorite bibs and burp cloths that I always found myself grabbing for.

My personal recommendation is that flannel material is best when it comes to burp cloths. With that said, here’s my list of the best baby burp cloths to purchase or add to your baby registry.

Don’t sleep on the receiving blankets you get at the hospital when your baby is born! You can also use these blankets as burp cloths and they are probably my favorite of any on this list. The only downside is you won’t get enough of these blankets, so you will need to get some other burp cloths as well.

I found these burp cloths from Gerber to be very absorbent and very durable. They worked great and the only downside was the size. I wish they were a bit larger. I used them more often for cleaning around my babies mouths rather than on my shoulder for burping.

When it comes to bibs, you will want to buy ones that are very absorbent, are large in size, fit your baby’s neck well, and are easy to put on and off. Make sure to invest in bibs that can be used for an extended period of time and are durable when it comes to consistent machine washing.
Best Spit Up and Drooling Bibs for Babies
Finding the right bibs for your baby does not have to be a chore. The below list contains my favorite bibs for dealing with drooling and spit up from your baby. My preferred materials for bibs are waterproof cotton or bibs with a waterproof lining on the back.

Best Bib for Babies Eating Solids
I personally loved these silicone bibs we purchased for eating solid foods. They cover a large surface, while still being comfortable for your baby. They are also so easy to wipe clean. These bibs are so large, they fit (and lasted) through toddlerhood too.
One downside is that these bibs were in fact too large for my babies when they started solids at 6 months old. So hold off on using them until about 9 months. In the meantime, you can use the bibs from the list above and just invest in a lot of laundry stain remover spray.
